Leslie Conner graduated with honors from the University of Central Oklahoma, receiving a BFA in Dance and a minor in music.
While in college, Leslie participated in the Kaleidoscope Dance Company and performed in the American College Dance Festival,
Oklahoma Festival of the Arts, Kansas Dance Festival, Oklahoma Contemporary Dance Festival, and Performaticá Festival in Puebla, Mexico.
She also created several pieces for the Student Choreography Concerts. Leslie has worked with professional artists including Loretta Livingston,
Charles Moulton, Oliver Steele, and Bill Evans. She has also studied at the Bossov Ballet Intensive in Pittsfield, Maine, as
well as Janice Garrett’s Summer Dance Workshop in San Francisco. She has also taken class in NYC at Steps on Broadway, Dance New Amsterdam,
Broadway Dance Center and Merce Cunningham Studios. Each summer she enjoys teaching creative dance for students at Arts Adventure Camp in
Tonkawa, OK. Leslie dances professionally with Perpetual Motion Dance Company, based in OKC, who perform modern and aerial dances.
In addition to dancing, Ms. Conner founded Blossom Weddings & Special Events and is a preschool teacher at Westminster Child Development Center.
Leslie has thoroughly enjoyed her 2 years with Movement Innovations. She resides in Oklahoma City with her husband, Austin, and their dog and two cats.
