During the nine years in Shreveport, she performed in Shreveport Metropolitan Ballet performances of Cinderella, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Coppelia, and numerous performances of the Nutcracker Ballet where she was chosen to dance the part of Clara in 2004. In the performance of Coppelia, she was chosen to dance en trois with guest artist Sean Armstrong. And in the performance Snow White, she was casted as the Evil Queen in 2009. She also was chosen to attend the 2008 summer workshop at the American School of Ballet and the summer workshop with Kansas City Ballet.

Through years of Ballet Company work, she also was a member of the highly regarded and awarded SDA Senior Jazz Ensemble. They won numerous gold and platinum awards at competitions. A lyrical piece choreographed by Steve Kincade titled “Hallelujah” won Critics Choice Award National Bid at New York Dance Alliance, National Bids at West Coast Dance Explosion and Tremaine National Conventions. The team was awarded 2008 Senior Jazz Ensemble Backstage Good Sportsmanship Award at the New York City Dance Alliance in Houston, Texas. And 2009 the Senior Jazz Ensemble was Tremaine Convention winners: “Disturbia” First Place, “Sinking Feeling” First Place, and Kelsee Green and her duet, “Contact” First Place and Overall High Score for Senior Division.

She now attends University of Central Oklahoma in pursuit to receive her major in Dance Performance. To continue her performing, she is a member of Kaleidoscope Dance Company and has loved the experience so far. She has been given many opportunities to do what she loves and thanks her family for supporting her. And she can’t wait for the new adventures dance will lead her to.
